On August 23, 2009, members of the Boston Fire Department as well as Firefighters from several cmmunities gather at Engine 37 and Ladder 26's station to pat tribute to Lt. Kevin Kelley. Kevin died in a tragic apparatus accident on January 9, 2009 when the brakes failed on Ladder 26. This was a moving and very fitting memorial for a dedicated Firefighter, Father and Husband. Rest in peace Kevin.
