2 alarm fire 444 Hyde Park Ave in Boston. Box was struck at 12:48pm on Monday July 23, 2012 and 2nd alarm transmitted on arrival by District 12. Fire caused $300,000 worth of damage and was caused by a child playing with a lighter. Fire originated on the 2nd floor rear porch and extended into the attic. 45 Philbrick Street received $25,000 damage from heat causing vinyl siding to melt. One occupant transported for evaluation to the hospital and one Firefighter with minor injuries.
